Ticket Policy

General

This is primarily and event for the Girton Community, and as such, no name changes are allowed. In the event a ticket is no longer needed, it can be returned to the Committee for a refund, less a £10 administration fee. The Committee will resell the ticket. In the event of tickets selling out, the Committee will maintain a waiting list for any returned tickets. Current Girton students who have not purchased tickets will be given priority on the waiting list. An optional £2 donation on each ticket will be donated to the Girton College Student Hardship Fund.


Current Girton Undergraduate and Graduate Students

Current Girton Students can purchase tickets on the ticketing website from 21:30 on Thursday 2nd November. Each student can purchase a maximum of three tickets, with payment to be made via college bill or bank transfer. Bank transfer must reach the Committee’s bank account by 5pm seven days after ticket purchase.


2017 Girton Graduates

Those who graduated from Girton in 2017 and no longer have a connection with the university, i.e. those who no longer have a Raven account, will be eligible to reserve one standard ticket in advance. A signup form will be advertised separately, which must be completed by Friday 20th October. The same email address used to reserve a ticket must also be used to purchase upgrades and additional tickets. And additional two tickets, and the option to upgrade their standard ticket to a dining ticket, will be available from the the ticketing website, from 21:30 on Thursday 2nd November. Payment must be made via bank transfer and reach the committee’s bank account by 5pm seven days after ticket purchase.


Girton Alumni, Excluding 2017 Girton Graduates

Girton Alumni will be contacted separately via the alumni newsletter, which will contain a link to sign up to register their interest in buying tickets, by Sunday 29th October. This does not guarantee a ticket reservation, and is only a declaration of interest. The same email address used to register interest must be used to purchase tickets. They may purchase tickets via the the ticketing website, from 21:30 on Thursday 2nd November. Payment must be made via bank transfer and reach the Committee’s bank account by 5pm seven days after ticket purchase.


Current Non-Girtonian Cambridge University Students

Any remaining tickets will go on sale at 21:30 on Friday 10th November on the the ticketing website. Payment must be made via bank transfer and reach the Committee’s bank account by 5pm seven days after ticket purchase.
